Yorkshireman Abroad

Hi, I'm Yorkshireman Abroad.
I'm a barber, personal trainer-in-training, and content creator based in Berlin.
I share real, honest content about getting healthy in your late 30s, moving to Germany, and building a better life abroad — physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Follow along as I chase the best version of myself — and help others do the same.

About

I’m currently training to become a personal trainer, and I’ve got a big interest in sober nightlife, wellbeing, and the kinds of things that help people feel better about themselves — not worse.

Social media should be entertaining, yeah — but I also want it to be valuable. If someone stops me on the street and says they saw my content and it helped them? That’s what it’s all about for me.

On this site, you’ll find:

  • My free guide to moving to Berlin

  • A link to join my monthly newsletter (Berlin tips, stories, interviews, and wellness stuff)

  • A bit more about me, some photos, and ways to work together or book me for collaborations

Thanks for being here.
I hope something I share connects with you — even just a little bit.

I’m a barber, content creator, and expat living in Berlin.

I make videos about what it’s really like to move to another country, how to stay healthy in your late 30s, and what it feels like to try and become the best version of yourself — all while still having a laugh.

I try to keep things relatable and real. Whether it’s sharing tips on how to move to Berlin, talking about fitness and mental health, or just having a moan about German bureaucracy, I want my content to feel like that honest chat you have with someone in the barber’s chair.
